Changing rooms and moving refrigerated items

Anyone ever changed rooms in mid-stream and had to move refrigerated items? I was curious if and how that would be handled since you couldn't get in your new room until after 4pm.

I use a collapsible cooler. I load it up, throw a luggage tag in it, and leave it with bell services with my luggage. Works great for me! :D

They'll keep it cold for you. Make sure you separate any freezer items out for them. We've been advised to take over freezer foods to the new place ourselves to make sure there is no slipup on storage. Bell services at the resort you're moving to will put it on cold storage. We've done this 2 or 3 times, even ice cream and frozen pizza with no problems at all.

We changed rooms after the 1st night when a Boardwalk view was available. The Bell Hop came to our room and took our luggage and food. We seperated our cold food from our cabinet food and when we returned, the cold food was put in the refrig. We did have to pay a fee for the cleaning of the old room we left. I thought it was well worth it to get a Boardwlk view.
