DH has talked me into going to TL at the end of August. Normally I sit on a lounger, read, and float around the lazy river.

Anyway--DH really wants me to try some of the slides and such:

1. I just know I can't climb those stairs
2. Some of them may be a bit "wild".

My questions are:

Has anyone done TL? Do they have accesible access to the slides and raft stuff AND what are the wilder slides to avoid?

TIA.

There isn't a lot of information available about disability access to the water parks, but I do know they have elevators. Disney doesn't have anything in their disability info about them.

We have been to Typhoon Lagoon once with DD and her wheelchair. She only went on the lazy river and in the wave pool. We didn't check on accessibility of anything else since we didn't feel they were safe with her disabilities and her idea of the perfect swimming pool temperature is a hot tub.

Here's one thread about water parks (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=56033&highlight=water+AND+wheelchair) and one about stairs at the waterparks (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15041&highlight=water+AND+wheelchair) .

Does anyone know more?

Looks like I have a task ahead for my Aug trip. I'll report back on my findings.
