I thought that the mugs that are purchased or come with the CS plan were to only be used at the resort. However, during our last trip I saw several parties using them at Electric Umbrella and at the CS in Ak that has self serve fountain (can't remember the name). I looked at the info that had come with our plan and I don't see where it says for use at the resort only. Surely I must be missing something and these folks were using the mugs inappropriately?

Can I drop the check in our check out day for the plan?

Yes, they are meant to be used only at the resorts, not in the parks.

I don't know what your second question means. Do you want to drop a day from your reservation or just drop the dining plan? In order to drop the plan you would have to drop the whole day from the reservation. If you take the dining plan, you must take it for all nights of your full stay.

I want to stay 4 nights but only have the dining plan for 3 as we will be arriving late and then leaving early the last day. I thought several years ago we were able to drop a day. I guess I was wrong! Thanks

You can't drop a night off the plan and to my knowledge you never could - try looking into some signature restaurants or dinner shows if you are going to have trouble using all your TS credits.
