kids at BW Community

I was wondering if there is anything new at the BW commuinity center as I never had a chance to really investigate when we were there in April with our kids.By the time we did it was the day we were leaving.I am really hoping to spend more time at the resort as opposed to running around. Any pointers?Thanks in advance!

Hi Tripletvan,

My DD's love the community centers, doesn't really seem to matter if there is anything new or not. We go 2-3 times a year, and they love hanging out there when we are not in the parks.

I know I didn't really answer your question but do think about taking a couple of days to just hang out.

Our 2 DS's always go to the Community Center, they love it.
Their 12 & 14 and we've owned for 5 years and they've been going since we joined. There's alot of times they just go down there and hang out and play games. The best thing about it is it's FREE! It's the only DVC resort that has a free game/play area.
We like to spend some time just relaxing & hanging out at the resort, it's a great way to unwind.
Check it out on your next trip, you'll all enjoy it.

My DH, and two teenagers and I enjoyed the ping pong table, foosball, and air hockey games there one night after eating at the Yachtsman Steakhouse at YC. We were only there for about an hour before they closed but would have enjoyed staying there a little longer.

I hope we can use it even when we stay at BCV.

where in BWV is the community center located? Can we use it when staying at BCV?

by the quiet pool. I would imagine that you could as long as you were DVC but I may be wrong.

OKW also has a Community Hall that my kids love. Mary Ann has been celebrating unbirthday parties with my kids since they were two and three years old!

I am sorry:( but it is my understanding that the BW Community Hall is guests STAYING at BWV ( DVC members and Guests at the BWI). I haven't heard any mention of "Community Hall " hopping and I think that it would be unfair to use the facitlities at another resort just because yours doesn't have it, or that you don't really like the one you have.:(

Don't all DVC's properties have a community center? I know OKW and BWV does, but what about WLV and BCV? I'll be a bit disappointed (just a bit, but I'm sure I'll get over it) if BCV doesn't have one.
