Am heading early next week, Am a total disney virgin.

There are 4 of us including one child with special needs.

Any last minute tips/advice

I am bringing her disabled parking permit, where do I bring this to get the pass so we dont queue for rides etc, queuing wouldnt be her strong point

We have a very late flight on the way home, will the hotel let us stay in the room after 11am for a fee?

Will the rooms in the Newport be warm at night?

are you staying in a regular room or an admirals floor room? the hotel is very big and there can be a lot of walking involved to get to your room. admirals floor room are more central to the amenities, im not sure how much extra you would have to pay. i would email disney at guest relations and ask to have a central room.

im not too sure about the pass i think it is city hall but im sure others can give you more info

Rather than paying extra, unless you particularly want to stay on the Admiral's Floor, they're 7th floor and up, which means using the lifts and as much as I love the NPB I have to admit that the lifts or rather lack of them is a problem, we waited so long one morning that we ended up finding a concrete staircase, I think it was the fire exit, this might not be so easy for you to do.
I would ring the hotel, explain about your daughter and see what they suggest, I know that all the hotels have specific rooms with disabled facilities, it may be that you don't need one of those, but I'm sure they'd be happy to arrange a room in a convenient location.
If you're worried about ringing the hotel don't be, someone will be able to speak English there, I've rung twice in the past and they've been very very helpful and courteous, they may ask you to ring back 5 days before your arrival date, which is when they get the occupancy list.

Hope you have as great a stay at the NPB as we did. :goodvibes
