Booking CRT when you have the Dining Plan

We booked our trip yesterday and have the Deluxe Dining Plan. I am attempting to make our dining reservations today, however, they are saying that I need to pay for CRT :confused3 Isn't it on our dining plan? If I have to pay for it what happens to that money?

Are you booking online?

You need to try linking your resort reservation to your restaurant reservation (there is a place on the booking window to add your resort reservation number). That is the only way the online reservation system has of acknowledging that you are on the dining plan.

However, it doesn't always work. If you can't get it to give you the reservation without charging in full for it, you have some options:

1) Give up on using the online system for this particular reservation, and make it by phone at 407-WDW-DINE.

2) Pay in full for it, then have the amount reimbursed when you arrive for the meal.

3) Pay in full for it, then get on the phone and try booking another reservation. If you get one, cancel the first one and get reimbursed for it.
