Just wondered if there is anyone on these boards with a child with autism in the Orlando area? My DH is interviewing for a teaching job so we are considering moving to the area.

I do not have any 1st hand knowledge, but I reviewed a curriculum that Timothy Kowalski SLP produced that my local district was using and it was pretty progressive. He lives and consults with the school districts around Orlando so the should be much more up to date than most districts. Here is one posting I found about him that you can probably find more about him from.

Thank you! Sounds very similar a consultant our school uses, and actually now that I say that, I believe he is from Winter Park. He comes up periodically to train/consult with our schools in the Panhandle, Dr. McGreevy.

There needs to be a greatschools.org for special needs!
