They'll only be 6 of us, but because of the particular group dynamics, we're putting 2 in the studio portion of the 2 Bdr, 1 on the couch in the living room, and 3 in the king bed (2 parents and a child). A cot would be perfect. What are the odds I can get a cot? :3dglasses

I don't believe that you can request a cot as a DVC member staying on points.

What many people do is bring their own aerobed.

I don't think they have them.
I tried once ... had no luck...No one was sure if they even had any.

DVC resorts do not have them.

You could bring an aero bed or something similar for the 6th person. A twin size will easily fit in the Master bedroom or somewhere in the living room/kitchen area.

We are staying at BWV in a few weeks and I have the same situation - within occupancy limits, but we wanted another bed. I found a place that rents rollaways and was set to go, but called MS just to check. They told me that they would not let it come up into the room - against fire code. They only allow for very specific situations - she mentioned handicapped people who have issues with regular beds, for example. I didn't want to chance them getting turned away at the entrance so we are just bringing an air mattress.

Not sure how old the child is...you can rent a full sized crib for $70/wk (from offsite company). I've done this several times and have had it in the master before.

DVC doesn't provide extra bedding. You'll need to bring or purchase whatever you need.

Actually some of the resorts do have cots but they will not let you get them for DVC accommodations by rule. Early on for BWV they did allow them but this option quickly was terminated. They do have a few full size cribs for free on a first come/first served basis.
