My Dh & I can't think of what to name our boat. We are both 29 with no children, so kids names are out. We want the name to be cute & origional. This is soooo hard!!!

I'd like it to be a WDW name but it doesn't have to be. HMMM...
We love Dixie landings & everything disney, but just can't come up with anything, except the small town in Germany where I was born, "LORRACH" pronounced "Lauraaa."
But if you don't know German, people will be like, what's a LORACK!"

SOOOO HELP PLEEEASE!!

I always say that if I ever have a boat or even a vacation house/cottage to name, I would name it:

HAKUNA MATATA

"It means no worries...
for the rest of your days........
It's a problem free
philosphy............" :) :) :)

tiggerlover, I really like Neverland as in Peter Pan or that they never want to "land" (dock) their boat.:)

I just thought of one, I'm going to post it so it will come up when I print this thread later...

HIDDEN MICKEY

Thanks for the inspiration...

in honor of lilo and stich --

how about Ilikai? (E-lick-eye) it means something along the lines of "gentle wind" in hawaiian. :D

My thought would be Wonderful Magic as you would incorporate both Disney Cruise Line names.

I remember Walter Cronkite's boat was called assignment. So when he was away and on his boat they truthfully could say on TV that he was On Assignment.

I couldn't help but share this...some friends of mine have a big fancy cigarrette boat named Blown Income!:D Not Disney, but kind of cool anyway.

With the economy the way it is (and along the way of "Blown Income"):
Our 401(k)
Tax Deduction Wannabe

Per your tag:
Disney Diva

Disney-ish:
Mickey's Maiden
Never Land (I really liked that one, especially with its double meaning)
SS Skuttle
Dream Keeper
Dixie Pixie was cool too

Depending on how boating affects you (romance? relaxing? togetherness?):
Afternoon D'Light
Aaaaah (That's in reference to the relaxing ;))
Keeping the Marriage Afloat
(or maybe in the future...) Conception (LOL!!)

Maybe some of the internet abbreviations would work:
IRL (In Real Life)
LOL (Laughing Out Loud)

Have fun with picking out your name. Good Luck!

PS. Ya know, "BOB" really isn't too bad. The boat "bobs" up and down in the water. And B.O.B. could stand for Better Off Boating.

I like the obscure ones, I can see.... Hmmm....

I've always liked the idea of

THANKS MOM AND DAD
or
THE OFFICE
(that way you could be going to "the office"

We call our pop-up camper our Summer Home. If your boat happens to be a houseboat, or a sailboat with sleeping quarters, that could work.

It has a nice ring. I like it when dh asks where something is and I can say, "Oh, I think it's in the summer home." :D

So, what did you finally decide to name your boat?

by the way-we named ours "Reel Deal" since my dh and his brother got it rather cheaply. My name for it is the "Money Pit".
