I'm not sure if this has been asked before but is bottled water included on the Del. DDP as a drink option. Last year on the Basic DDP sometimes bottled water was included and sometimes not. This was frustrating. After ordering bottled water a few times, I gathered it was not included but some CM's were being nice and included it.:confused3

As far as I know bottled water is always included at any CS, TS or snack kiosk that carries it. Maybe some of the non-Disney restaurants don't allow it. Don't know if you're referring to CS or TS restaurants. If you're talking about sparkling or spring or mineral water at TS restaurants, it may be the case that you could get Dasani water but not that.

As far as beverage options, Basic and Deluxe DDP are exactly the same. IF bottled water is not included on the basic it won't be included on the deluxe either.

Last year at Askerhaus (sp?) a large bottled water was brought out. My son does not drink any kind of soft drinks. At Crystal Palace, the waiter said bottled water was not included in the drinks. I had to pay oop for the water. From what I remember, the CS usually gave bottled water but it was the TS restaurants where we had the varying answers. We will have deluxe DDP this Jan. as opposed the basic DDp thats why I was wondering. My son likes plain bottled water like Dasani, etc.

It was annoying to have to pay OOP for plain bottled water, especially because some places gave it and other did not.

Then it's up to the TS restaurant - if they tell you the bottled water is not included, then it isn't. The answer won't be different because you are on the deluxe plan. If you're going back to any of those restaurants, you could always buy a bottle of Dasani outside for a snack credit and bring it in.

Thanks for the reply. I probably am sounding cheap but you would think this would be a universal thing ( either bottled water is included or it is not).

Just makes it nicer if included - thanks again!

There are a lot of incidentals on the dining plan that are not uniform across the board - each restaurant has its own policy about some things. With so many restaurants on the plan, there's bound to be differences in some places.

I feel your pain. I don't drink any carbonated drinks. I would often ask at TS restaurants for a glass of ice water and a bottled water. Most would do it. The few that would not just meant that I got a milk in a to go cup for my youngest (too young for the plan).

Just an aside, the waiters/waitresses that brought the bottled water usually got a pretty nice tip:)Some seemed to understand that some kids just don't like pop. That's a good idea about the milk. Afterall, you are paying for a drink, might as well use it...

Water's available everywhere, just not necessarily bottled. If your family drinks bottled water exclusively, then you might run into this problem, but you can get a glass or cup of ice water for no charge at any restaurant. If you're just trying to use up the credit by selecting a beverage that has monetary value, your choices are not limited to soda and water as you can always ask for milk or juice.

Actually, I drink just about any type of soft drink, iced tea, coffee, etc. My son drinks only water (or milk with breakfast). And, although he is older, the milk isn't a bad idea for dinner. Thanks to the previous poster for this tip. But, I guess since soft drinks are included on the DDP, I assumed bottled water would be. We certainly drink tap water but I'm not ashamed to admit that I'd rather have bottled water than tap water any day.

So, in conclusion, I guess I found out that not all restaurants are required to serve bottled water even if some do. I'll just ask.
