How much for daily maid service?

DVC only provides weekly maid service. Does anyone know how much for daily maid service?

It depends on the size unit you are staying in. I like not having the maids in the room. It feels more like home, and I don't have to worry about being walked in on. I have never used it, but I know it is NOT cheap. If you are worried about clean towels every day etc. There is a washer and dryer in the unit ( no charge), and if you are staying in a studio, you can use the washer and dryer at the pools for no charge. Also, you will get trash and towel service on the 4th day. This means they come in and bring fresh towels and replenish dish soap etc. as well as empty trash.

You get either Trash & Towel or a full cleaning every 4 days. If you are staying for eight nights or longer, you get the full cleaning on day 4. Less than eight nights, you only get the T&T on the 4th day.

If you'd like to arrange additional full cleanings, the cost varies by size of the unit.

Studio -- $25 per day
1 Bedroom -- $30 per day
2 Bedroom -- $40 per day
Grand Villa -- $60 per day
An additional T&T -- $10 per day

What exactly do they do if you get trash and towel?

Just what the name implies, or more soap, Shampoo, coffee, etc as well as trash removal and new towels.

Also, is the T&T service the same cost for all size units? I thought it was $6 for Studios and 1 bdrms, and $10 for 2 bdrms?

The following is from page 74 of the Member Guidebook.

During T & T service, housekeeping will:

*Empty the trash and put new liners in the trash bins

*Provide fresh bathroom linens

*Replace facial tissues, paper towels and toilet paper

*Replenish coffee, sugar, cream and sweeteners

*Replenish dishwashing liquid, dishwasher detergent, sponges and laundry as needed


There is only the one price ($10) listed for T & T service which leads me to believe it is the same price for all size units.

I never even knew they had the T&T available for cash until I looked up the housekeeping pricing today. LOL! Since it is so minimal, it's the same for all units. $6 is the price for all units to get a fresh set of towels.

Thanks Carol and Pam! I knew I saw $6 someplace, but now it all makes sense.

I've read several times that laundering the towels is expensive, so I thought there would be a difference in cost if the unit needed 4 sets or 8 sets.

How come my 1 bdrm unit is subsidizing those 2 bdrms and GVs! ?;)


OK, another question... If you get T&T, what is the going tip?
