I realize this isn't much, but I was watching the Event Reminders Video

and saw some pictures of the 2010 Merchandise. It was brief, but gives you a quick glimpse of what is to come.

Not too thrilled they carried the character logo embossed in the date artwork again this year. Saves $$ for other things

Just watched before checking out the Dis :thumbsup2 I need to watch it again to get a better look at the merchandise. My antique was a bit choppy :laughing:

But now watching it again I will look for Duane and Charles crossing the start :thumbsup2 Ahhh I see you mention the character logo/year, thanks Charles. I was trying to figure out what was on the hat and that's it!

Can you buy marathon stuff anywhere after the race? Or is it "buy it at the Expo or nothing"?

I suggest buying it at the expo....merchendise will be VERY limited after the races. They do have some at the EPCOT parking lot near the finish line, but there usually isn't much of a selection. They also will have leftover stuff at the sports store at the Marketplace on Monday. But as I said, it will be very limited! If you want the "I Did It" shirts...get them at the expo...those will be gone if you don't!

It is pretty much buy it at the Expo or nothing. They do have a souvenir stand at the races themselves in the family reunion area. But, it is just the items that didn't sell.

After the races you can find left over items at Downtown Disney (maybe even before the races, not sure) as I know that little sports store on the way into the Expo has marathon items so maybe the one downtown does too.

That was my thoughts last year as well. Needless to say I finished the 26.2 and have no shirt that says "I did it" didn't want to jinx myself so I didn't get it at the expo. One thing led to another and I never ended up getting one. Moral of the story is - you won't jinx yourself and if in the off chance you don't finish you can always sell it on Ebay later. I learned my lesson and bought the Princess 1/2 marathon I Did It shirt at the expo.

No jinx if you do not wear it! Better buy it at the expo. The only I DID It shirt I ever wanted was for the inaugural Goofy. Disn't buy; didn't get it.

I really wish that Disney and other races would not offer this stuff until after the race. I saw a 'runner' at mile 8 last month in SA with an I DID It shirt for the 09 SA Marathon. There was no way she did the marathon in less than 1:20 and had time to redress and get out to mile 8. It just cheapens the race when this happens. Sorry I am a little old school

you won't jinx yourself...don't worry! as charles said, if you don't finish, just don't wear it! but you will finish, so don't worry about it. I felt the same way 2 years ago when i did my first disney race, i didn't want to buy it. My husband ended up buying it for me because he wanted me to have it. i didn't know until after the race when I was looking for one. i was so disappointed that they didn't have anymore...when my husband tells me that he already bought me one!!! I learned my lesson...last year, I bought one for the half, full, and Goofy at the expo!

I have my mother purchase the I Did it stuff for me and give it to me after I cross the finish line. I always plan that if I don't finish I will take it to the Sports Store in DTD and return it.

last year my friends who ran the race were told they could return the I did it shirts if for some reason they didn't finish. they were told this at the expo. I say go ahead and get it, I know I will!

I will buy a "I did it" kinda' thing prior to running & just put it away, but the one thing I NEVER do is wear a race shirt before or during that race. That is (IMHO) such INCREDIBLY bad karma. Just won't do it. Bad. Bad. Badbadbadbadbad...................
