Hi,

I'm just now shopping around trying to figure this out. I'm getting my phd at the end of janunary and my parents are visiting from out of the country. So, as a family adventure, we're going to disney world.

Since their international flight already costs several thousand dollars, we're trying to do this as inexpensively as possible. I'm thinking of just covering 3 parks. I've looked at mousesavers and the tickets for 3 days costs the same as tickets for 6 days. I've also looked at the 6d/5n packages with $300 gift cards, those come up to ~$1200 (-#300 for gc) for the whole family. I'm trying to figure out if there's a cheaper way to do this. We're content with just 4 night stay with 3 days of entry, but every way I look at it, it costs almost the same as the package deal??

Any suggestions or advice would be tremendously appreciated!:goodvibes

Hi and Congrats! Unless you are ok staying offsite I would suggest you get the package. That will be your best deal. Sent you a PM as well.

Welcome! Your post was several years ago and I don't see a Trip Report on your posting statistics.

I have just been awarded my PhD as well and I am trying to figure out how to best celebrate. Given that I'm Disney obsessed, we are thinking of throwing together a trip very quickly, which is how I found this post of yours.

I hope you went to celebrate and you have a fantastic time.
