cash and then points??

Hi everyone,
I would like to try to get a pretty good discount on a studio at BW for a Saturday night, a cash reservation. Would I then be able to rent points for the studio for Sunday night but stay in the same studio?
I usually can only make short weekend trips to DW, but there are a few Monday holidays I could take advantage of. The amount of points for weekend nights is so high!

I stayed at the new BCV from July 1 to the 5th. I didn't want to use my points for the Friday so we had decided to leave that day.
Well I just couldn't leave. We had a great view of the quiet pool, a 2 bedroom, and the entire family was with me for the first time since they were little.
So I called down to the front desk and they allowed me to pay cash for the extra night. And I thought it was very reasonable for a Friday night. I paid about what I would have paid for a one room at one of the deluxe resorts.
Can't wait till next year. Peggie

Thanks for answering my post. I am trying to figure out how to make the plan work. :)

I guess I should get the best deal I can for the studio, paying cash, for the Saturday night. Then, I will try to get the reservation for the Sunday night by renting points from an owner. If I can't get that, I can cancel the Saturday night and start all over. :jester:

I sure understand what you mean when you say you just could not leave on your check-out day! Every time we go, it seems harder to leave, it's downright depressing!
