I am already booked for the 01/24/04 cruise, how sad eh?:)
We have chosen for right now to take an inside handicap room, mom had trouble walking and needs the extra space for the showers.
What is this room like, can it sleep 4, it is cat 11?
We might be adding my sisters family in a second cat 11. and would have to have my two nieces in with us?
what is the bathroom like and what is the set up in the sleeping areas?
Thanks you any help you wonderful guys and gals can offer!:D

We're booking a cruise for Sept 2012 & noticed this room is 300 sq ft while the other HCP rooms are 250 sq ft. This room is also $100 cheaper than the other which is on deck 7. Makes me wonder if there's something undesirable about this room. I was researching it & came across your post from several years ago & hoped you had some info on this room.

We had stayed twice in this room, and loved it. It has a fold over sofa and double bed for 3 to sleep.
There is a double luggage trunk for extra storage. It might have a little extra open floor space then deck 7 rooms due to the shape of the ship at that level.

The pictures are helpful. The only HC rooms I've stayed in are hotel rooms. I hated the roll in showers because the floor gets flooded. We're booked in a non-acessible room for Oct 2011 but after noticing the tight spaces in the room, I'm worried that I won't be able to get my small scooter in the room or use my walker. We're looking into changing our room for 2012 but I don't know if I want to deal with the wet floor...definitely not a good thing to risk slipping on it. Did you have that problem with this room?

The HA rooms have a drain right at the edge of the shower to catch the excess water. I also put down a towel to keep everything dry. DH has never had an issue. Have a great cruise!
