Clearing Customs at Pearson

Ok here is the situation...need some advie.

My mother arrives in YYZ at 10:30. We arrive at 12:00. We then get the same flight to Orlando.

So she is terrified of traveling so I want her to wait at the gate she arrives at and I will find her. Will her luggage be Ok sitting in the customs area for that long?

Any other thoughts on how to do it? I do not think she can clear customs on her own.

Maybe you can check with airline. Since your Mom is a senior and not able to
travel on her own. They might be able to help by having her stay in a designated place until you arrive. Are you both travelling with the same airline?

Good idea, both traveling AC.

I have found, too, that the luggage does not always come out that quick ... I had two hour layover at Pearson last year to MCO and my luggage came out a half hour before the flight. Luckily, we were moved to the head of the line at customs and walked right onto our flight.

But definitely call AC Customer Service. I am sure they will be able to help.
