How is your luggage tended to when staying at a hotel the night before your cruise?

I was curious...how is your luggage handled if you stay in a hotel the night before boarding the boat as opposed to going right from the airport to the boat? Is it more of a hassle? Also, which hotels are the best to stay at for service to the ship from the hotel?

You'll have to take care of your luggage if you fly in the day before. They won't take care of your luggage until the morning of the cruise.

We are staying at the raddsion about 1 1/2 from port the rate we got was 59.00, when you call them ask them for the fall rate. The hotel has a shuttle from the hotel to the boat. I hope this helps, if you need anymore info you can e-mail me at sksk2@aol.com

NYCDVClover2000- can you request the shuttle for any time you want or does it leave for the port at specific times? Additionally, what time did you take the shuttle and did you think that was a good time to leave?

They have shuttles leaving all morning but you have to sign up for a specific time. The gates at the port do not open until 10:30. If you get there before then you have to stand in a marked off section of the parking lot until then.
