Just came back from a trip where we used the QSDP for the first time. We are already fans of WPE and eat there every trip, whether we have the DDP or not. But we knew we would get big bang for our buck on the DP by eating there.

What we didn't realize is that it's even a better deal for breakfast. WPE apparently has no separate children's menu at breakfast, so our 7 and 4 year old were able to order off the regular menu. The portions are HUGE. Even the CMs told us to share, but we were leaving that day and had to use our credits up.

We decided we liked breakfast even better than dinner! The french toast was unbelievably good, the waffles were incredible, and the pizza was fabulous. My 4 year old wanted just scrambled eggs, and they gave it to her with a side of the yummy Niman ranch bacon.

Definitely an awesome deal on the QSDP! (and they give a AAA discount if you are paying out of pocket!)

What is WPE? Perhaps I need to add this to my OOP expenses for breakfast so we won't have to use up credits there. And it is allowable to share?

WPE is Wolfgang Puck Express in Downtown Disney. You can see the menu and prices at allearsnet.com. It is a fabulous use of a CS credit (for B, L or D) on the dining plan. I am sure it would be ok if you shared. :)

It's fine to share....the CM even suggested it in our case, but we wanted to use our CS credits plus we really wanted to try all the different breakfast options. And everything we had was VERY yummy!

I think we are going to make breakfast here our "for sure" meal in the future. In the past, it's been dinner, but they made some changes to the menu recently, and I honestly think that breakfast is even better!

Note that the 2010 DDP brochure was updated on 12/21/09 and the Wolfgang Puck restaurants are not on it.

We still have a week until 2010 so it's possible they could still be added.
