Any idea about paper towels, dish soap, coffee filters, etc?

Honestly I've never made coffee so I'm not sure about the filters! You can ask over on the dvc boards! http://disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=89
There are paper towels and dish soap!

If the coffee at the AKV is like that at the BWV it is the self contained packet of coffee in a filter - just put the packet in the filter basket and add water. The BW comes with paper towels and dish detergent plus a sponge. The one thing that we are always looking for is napkins which are not included - so we just take extras from counter service places and use them. If you are renting through Disney you will have daily housekeeping (they will load and start the dishwasher) but is you are renting points through a DVC member you will only have housekeeping on the fourth day. We find that they also provide a box of Tide when you check-in for the washer and if they come in to clean up and it is gone they will leave another. The washer/dryer is the best perk since we will throw a load in, go out to a park and then come back and throw it in the dryer. Don't have to pack and much and can return home with clean clothes and not have to face all that laundry after unpacking.

Great tip on the napkins...thanks. We too are looking forward to packing less and using the in room washer/dryer.

There are no coffee filters, you will need to bring your own if you don't use those self enclosed coffee things.
