Internet at RP [Archive] - The DIS Discussion Forums

I read where Barry said there was WebTv at the RP for $10.00 aday. Is there also data port access if you have a laptop? If there is does anyone know how it works? Is it dial up and DSL? I don't mind using the webtv but was curious about the other as I will have my laptop with me.

I used my laptop at RP, I just plugged it into the phone & dialed a local access #.

Thanks Cheryl!! I guess the only charge that there you have is the cost of a local call Am I right? I can't wait to stay at the RP. I really wouldn't be concerned whether or not I have internet or not but DD is dying to know if she is going to be able to chat or email her boyfriend! Thanks again!!

I can't remember the exact amount but they chage you $1.00 for the first 10 minutes then there is an additional amount charged after that.

Local calls at RPH cost $1 to connect and includes 10 minutes of talk time, 5 cents per minute after the first 10 minutes!
