View Full Version : I am going to keep my eye on this site as this is how I want to scrapbook...
http://simplestories.typepad.com/
As much as I love BUYING all the embellishments and all, I really want to bring things back to the "basics" as I am just way too far behind to ever get caught up if I spend 2+ hours on each page.
Saw this on twopeas and thought I would share. :)

Those are awesome.. those are like the "blended" books that Lindababe showed us.. Several of us have bought the packages and have them ready to go...
The kit part of it is nice! ;) TFS
Nancy - is there a link? I would love to see them. And what is this package you speak of?? ;)

Thanks for the link. Great ideas.
Maybe I'll be able to re purpose that 365 kit (that I had to have) into something like this...

I'd be thrilled if I could *just* spend 2+ hours on each page - I feel like I spend 2 days on each one!!! (Not the world's fastest scrapper!) :lmao:

Very cute. It's similar to the Creative Memories album I used for 365. But that has vertical and horizontal places on both pages.

I had ordered another Project Life kit for the future, but I'm thinking that I like this a lot better because the We R Memory Keepers pages have options for different photo orientations - vertical, different sizes, etc.
This would also make a great gift for someone that doesn't really scrapbook - throw some patterned paper and embellishments in some of the slots and they'd just have to add their photos.

It's pretty much the only way I scrap any more - This month, I've cranked out a completely journaled, two album compendium of our November trip/cruises including both scrapped and divided pages, in addition to doing a mountain of laundry, working out, getting ready for the holidays and having multiple doc appointments.
L-inda - is there a link to your pages? I really think this is the way I want to go now...more pictures and less "stuff".

Here is where i found WE R Memory Keepers brand... looks like good pricing..and lots of variety! Horizontal/ Vertical.... a mixture of 6x4/ 4x6 and 6x12... plus other sizes too like 8x8; etc..

Also, if you have a Hobby Lobby, I found the Pebbles brand there... they are good too!

Unfortunately, the store link is truncated - can you help with that?

This is similar to Becky Higgins' Project Life kit. I was thinking of ordering it, but the shipping is outrageous! Project Life (http://www.beckyhiggins.com/projectlife/).

Archivers has the We R Memories stuff, too. I know it's been quite popular there, and I've thought about doing that for some of my photos.
I do have many of my non-Disney trip photos in similar albums, but without any scrapbooking elements, but that could be changed.

Here is another site for the page protectors!!!
http://store.scrapbook.com/wermekealre.html
Didn't realize the old one was disfunt... I had it saved in my bookmarks... :)
See if this link works...it is where I have bought my We R Memory Keepers page protectors and have always had good service. Check out the different configurations you can get! I am getting new ideas on how to do some pages... :)

Oh...just a reminder...if you do order these pages, make sure you check if they are for a 3-ring OR post bound album! I ordered the wrong type last time but managed to e-mail them back to change to the correct ones before my order was processed and shipped! I use their 12x12 pages for my regular scrapbooks and the ones with space for six 4x6 photos on a page for my Project 365 album. Now I will have to look again and order some different configurations and try to "think outside the page" ;) They also sell the We R Memory Keepers 3-ring binders, including the key lime green shown in the ad in my first post. Not that I am trying to enable anyone or anything...

well, I learn something new every day! I didn't realize there were different pp for post bound and ring bound - I've been using the same ones in whichever :confused3

I love these pages ... will have to add them to my wish list. What a great way to deal with vacation pics. Scrap some pages, fill in the the pocket pages and even use some of the blocks for scrapped items as well.
