We go annually from Xmas-New Years. We hit the college bowl games and the Diz Parks. So, we are prepared for the crowd sizes. This is the first year my 84 year old FIL will need a wheelchair. We will not be arriving at the parks early. we stay offsite with relatives, drive in around 10 ish. We will have a toddler with us so the days go by the schedules of the very old and very young in thegroup. We will only need the chair on park days, as he can walk but just not long distances. Wondering if they will be sold out by 10 to 10:30 at the parks. Anyone know? Our actual dates are 28th-Jan 5

It is always possible for them to out, but I have never seen them run out of chairs. A freind of mine is only able to go during peak times and said she was always able to get one and she doesn't hit the park till around lunch. If it very important tho, you may want to rent one from a medical supplier so that you will always have it with you and you will have the peace of mind and assurance that it's going to be there.

We were there in late Dec 2007 and a couple of times when returning a wheelchair (we were always there early and I can only last a few hours) there was a queue of people waiting for wheelchair returns as they had run out. As suggested above perhaps renting from offsite for the duration of your visit would be a good idea.
