Teppan Edo??

Looked on 2010 Dining Plan Restaurants and didn't see Teppan Edo on there. They were on last year because I went. Do they add on to this list or is this final and Teppan Edo is definitely off for 2010????

The non-Disney-owned eateries sometimes take into December to re-negotiate.

It took them a long time last year too. I was in a panic about it, but it turned out fine.

I called Disney Dining the other day to retrieve a few of my ADR confirmation numbers. I had a few ADRs that I needed to make. I asked the castmember if Teppan Edo would be included on the Dining Plan and she said that they would. I don't know how much weight to give the comment but that's what she said.

You might want to check the updated dining plan brochure; just noted that the CSR (Coronado) has added all of their restaurants and they are always one of the last ones to sign on).

I noticed within the past week a few more restaurants have been added to the 2010 dining plan....but Teppan Edo is still not there! Anyone think it wont participate anymore?? :confused3

This happens every year. They'll be included.

No way to say that yet. In the past, all participating restaurants have been listed by January 1. According to the current Disney brochure (linked on the Disney World website) the only recent additions of non-Disney-owned restaurants have been Chefs de France and Boulangerie Patisserie. Another poster states that Coronado Springs has been added. This year it appears they are adding them a few at a time instead of all at once like in previous years.

The first year after Teppan Edo changed mangement, they held out much longer than the other third party restaurants, but they did sign up by January 1.

It's also not definite to say that any restaurant not signed up by January 1 will not participate at all in 2010. That's what's happened in the past (all DDP restaurants re-signed by January 1 with the exception of Fulton's, which dropped the plan in 2006), but it can't be accurately predicted 100% of the time what Disney will do absent an official announcement.

Would love to see the link, becuase if I go on www.disneyworld.com and open the basic DDP brochure for 2010 I get the one with Chefs de France and Boulangerie Patisserie, no Coronado Springs and no other Epcot restaurants. Am sure the readers would like to see the updated brochure.

If that is the final brochure (and that is not the one I get when I click on the same link on Disney's page through Google, must be a cookies issue) then there are a few omissions still:


Wolfgang Puck Express and Cafe
Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining
Yak & Yeti

Everything else seems to have been added. I'd check back closer to Jan. 1 to see about those holdouts.

I know!!! It is on my ADR list for my January Trip so I hope it is all settled by then.
