Don't know what's up with Alamo. Last week I got an email about $20/day rentals but it would not give them to me for that weekend. My QS coupon code doesn't work either.

Try the "IG" code. I am renting from Thursday to Monday, so I got the $18 weekend daily rate. The $20/day rental special has never worked. Although Budget does have that one, which I was going to use until this latest Alamo deal came out.

I didn't get the $20 weekend rate either but I picked the Car Care Center as our rental location since we're staying an extra week afterward.

Yes, I'll probably use the car most of the time. Plus I have to take my niece back to the airport on Monday morning (she's leaving earlier than me).

I found a quote on Hotwire for a car for all six days for $105 total. I'm looking at possibly going that route.

Has anyone ever booked a car through Hotwire before? Pros/Cons?
