Does anyone know if there is a savings or credit issued to Castaway Club members who book using DVC points?

The most recent policy from DVC and DCL is that they will honor Castaway Club shipboard credits when booking on points. However, this policy has been flip flopping over the past year. As recently as this past December, it was the opposite. Since they are now honoring them, I suggest making sure they apply the credits when you book with MS and make a note of the name of the MS CM who actually verifies and applies the shipboard credits to your ressie. Doesn't hurt to be careful just in case. :)
