I was just wondering two things -

1.) Does anyone know the max number of people that can sleep in the Fort. Wilderness Cabin's

2.) I know the new discounts rates are out - does anyone know if that is based on two people for the cabin and if they charge extra if there would be 6 people in there?

thanks in advance!!!

Chris

I just read in my WDW Book that 6 people can fit in the cabins. They have 2 queen beds (or double, not sure) and a set of bunk beds. HTH!

Our last trip (11/00) was in the Wilderness Home. It looked like a regulary trailer vs. the log cabin outside of the cabins. We had 5 people, 2 a & 3 c. There is a murphy bed in the living room, (double size?) and a double and bunks in the bed room. It was very comfortable except when we sat down for breakfast. The table only had room for 4. We still liked everything and would do that resort again when the $$ allows us to splurge!! As far as the price, I'm not really sure. It might depend on the # of adults vs. children. Good luck!!:p

I'm pretty sure the extra fee is only if there are more than two adults and it is $5/adult/night.

If memory serves the cabins can accomodate 6 people:

2 can sleep comfortably on the Murphy bed located in the sitting area (front room) of the cabin;

2 can sleep in a queen size bed located in the bedroom;

2 can sleep in the bunk beds located in the bedroom.

Our family has stayed in the cabins once and I believe the FW cabins are one of the best deals for the money on property.
