O/T -Husbands wallet and new coat was donated to charity.

I just need to vent. My husband just called me and told me that someone moved his coat onto a pile to be picked up and donated to charity. His wallet was also in the breast pocket. I believe it was the janitor in the school that he is working at. He is not sure what charity either.:headache:

I am frustrated to no end. I have put a hold on all of our accounts and credit cards. Thank goodness I am done my holiday shopping.

I hope we can track it down. The coat was brand new. He just cut the tags off this morning too.......

My husband was a contractor doing some work at a public school. The janitor at the school didn't know who picked up the clothing.

We didn't know who it was donated to because of our privacy act here in Canada is very strict.

He couldn't get a hold of the principle at the school because no one would give out his phone number because of the privacy act.

Finally a teacher came and found it went to a family, new to Canada from Africa. He was able to track it down. He got his wallet back and the money inside. He donated the money that he had in his wallet to the family.
