Hi everyone! I am running the Goofy Challenge in a few weeks along with my sister. She will not be in Orlando until late the evening before the half marathon. Does anyone know if I will be able to check her in at the Expo on Thursday/Friday? And if so, what will I need from her in order to do so? Thanks so much! And best of luck to anyone else who will be there!

Great, thanks! So just the waiver and a paper copy of the license will do?
It would be wise to post this question on the Wish pages as I know there is something about the Goofy where they put the wrist band on you themselves, they will not give them to you.
For any other race what the others had said is correct, but the Goofy is a bit different.

Pretty sure that each runner had to pick up thier own stuff. The Disney Sports site says "All runners must attend the Expo for race number and packet pick-up."
Plus, for Goofy, you get a wrist band that you have to wear for the 1/2 marathon. Expo is open until 8:00pm. If your friend is going to be latter than that, then I would email Disney and see what can be done. There is a link to contact them on the Marathon web page.

I'm moving this to the Event and Competition board. You'll get plenty of responses there.

I had this same problem myself with my husband-- he will not arrive until late on Friday. I was told by Disney Sports that I can get the packets for the full and half for him with a copy of his license and a signed waiver (I also plan to bring a letter signed by him that I have his permission just to be safe). The wristband does have to be put on in person. There is reportedly a Goofy tent at the prerace area of the 1/2 and if you go there in the morning with a copy of your license they can put the band on at that time.
Hope this helps.

This is the exact answer - It also applies to those who lose their band before the race on Saturday.
