WHY have the codes...

forsaken me. NO CSR for the codes or AP rate. For the cost I might as well try the Cont. or Animal Kingdom. Any help with a decision between the 2? What room should I ask for?

I can't believe I won't be staying at CSR.

Mario, the CM I spoke to this morning told me AP rates are schedules to come out Sunday, July 28. Maybe there will be a CSR AP rate then.

I am so sad to know that CSR is not offering discounts in October.... I might need to stay at CBR or POR to save myself some dough. But I believe if we pray hard enough, magic might happen!!

Also for your question, I would choose Comp. because I like the monorail better than the animals.

Remember that CSR is a convention hotel and they have to hold blocks of rooms for conventions for some period of time. There is some chance that when these rooms are released CSR might have more discounts available, but right now they probably are protecting their inventory of rooms.

Been reading other posts that say it's hard to apply the codes to stays at CR due to the overflow from Shades of Green. Hey, but I hear AKL is great!:p

Dancingbear... that is just what I was thinking. They probably have to hold them for conventions. They might release them closer to your arrival date??? Maybe make a reservation somewhere else and then keep checking back. ;)

Judith - the CM told me that the new rates coming out on 7/28 will not include CSR either.

DancingBear - this is the first time I have not been able to get a CSR code. They must have many conventions planned or I hope your right and they will release some later.

Jeank74 - I can't believe you won't get a chance to stay at CSR.

The monorail is pulling over more than the animals. I would like to try both. Any room suggestions for either?

I feel your pain:) We wanted to stay at CSR again too. It is my husbands and my favorite. We held POFQ because we have stayed there and liked it too. I was tempted to just go with CSR but the price is the same as AKL and WL with the new code for those ones:( CRO told me CSR and ASmovies are not offering AP discounts either. She said they have a lot of conventions at that time so I guess they don't have to discount. My husband does not like AKL OR WL (he says they are both too dark) otherwise I would go for it. I did see in another post that AP rates will be even better than this code so that would be nice.

Gosh, Buzz 2001, your neat CSR site got me all worked up about staying at this resort in January! I am forsaking the ASMo for reasons discussed earlier on the DIS, and thought I had found the perfect alternative. Hopefully, AP rates will be available for Jan. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed!
