Is Member Services # ALWAYS this busy on a Monday morning??

I am trying to call for a payoff figure on our account and can not get through!! I guess I never called on a Monday before :rolleyes:

they are pretty busy on Mondays - I have found that Wednesday/Thursday work the best - remember on Thursday that are open an hour longer.

I had trouble getting through also. I called to make sure the points I used for friends of ours for Thanksgiving were not banked points. They might have to cancel and I wanted to be able to bank them for next year.

Lots of members must like to do their "planning" over the weekend, because Mondays always seem to be busier than other days.

It might be even a little "extra" busy today. Today is the 7th month booking window for the end of Presdent's Week next year. President's Day is the third Monday in February, and those who like (or need) to travel Sat - Sat will be checking out 2/22/03.

June 22, 2003 is a Sunday, so there are likely quite a few Members calling to begin booking that week as well.

The good news is that MS won't stay as busy for as long as it did when we were all booking our December trips! :D :D

The 2003 cruises also require that people book on Mondays, so you are also getting that 11 month traffic since the actual dates fall on the weekend.

I work for a luxury car manufactures financing arm and I can tell you our call center is backed up for the whole day each and every Monday! I guess everyone has the weekend to sit around and think about making their auto payment, or in DVC’s case have the weekend to plan, plan, plan!!

It must have been my first call on a Monday also, I was on hold for a LONG time :)

I called a couple of weeks ago and was told it would take 15 minutes. I am not sure it took that long but it was a wait.
