Christmas WL or AKL

Since the new codes come out, we are contempating a second trip to the world the day after Christmas just to see what the resorts look like decorated. Now we have stayed at WL before, just not at Christmas but we have never stayed at AKL. We can only spend three nights so switching would be a hassle. Which one would you recommend? We can always visit the other while down there. Also, I have a DD 4 if that influences any opinions.

Well, if you have already stayed at WL, then I would stay at AKL, this time.

The codes are only in effect until 12/25.

The codes are good until Dec 25th. So you would have to check in on or before that date in order to take advantage :)

The WL and AKL are both gorgeous. If you have stayed at WL before, give AKL a try. I missed the decorations at AKL last year, when we went to see, they still werent up yet, and it was a few days after thanksgiving (they were putting them up that night!)
We will be sure to take a look this year, I'm sure it will be amazing!

I haven't seen WL all done up for Christmas, but we stayed at AKL at the beginning of January this year, and the decorations were still up. They were stunning...really something to see. In addition to the trees and garlands in the lobby, there was an adorable little gingerbread African village set up by Boma.

Could not decide which one, so I decided to stay at both. I've stayed at the WL once before, but only for 2 nights and have never stayed at the AKL. The Wilderness Lodge is so beautiful and I love the pool and the shuttle boat to the Contemporary and Magic Kingdom. I also like renting the watermice and shooting over to the Floridian, Polynesian and looking at the MK. We toured the lobby and pool area of the AKL during our last trip and it looks great.
