Captain EO will be returning to Disneyland in February 2010. HISTA will be closing in the next few weeks.

Cool i can't wait to see it i was born in 93 and it closed in 97 so if i ever went on it i don't remember it.

Going to Disneyland at the end of April. Yeah!! Though I'm not a MJ fan (I listened to The Clash and Depeche Mode back in the 80's) I still want to experience it.

Oh, and if we are really lucky the new "Wonderful World Of Color" will also be presenting.

I love Captain EO. I remember taking my son when he was small and he just kept telling everyone he saw after that " I saw Michael Jackson, I saw Michale Jackson"

I'm wondering how they will bring it back. I saw the movie on YouTube and it was painfully eighties. This will probably be more for nostalgia freaks like me rather than a new audience.

But at least MK is recognizable (LOL) in Captain EO. I'll bet most kids/teens today have no idea what HISTA is about.

I never went to DL or WDW as a child. I know, poor me. But, DH and I are making up for it now by taking our children. I remember hearing about Captain EO and that Michael Jackson was in it. What exactly was the attraction?????? :confused:

We finally have the "official" open date for Captain EO this Tuesday, February 23.
