I first called and tried to apply it to my DC reservation, but of course, that didn't work. When I tried to make a new reservation applying the code, it was over $20 more. Am I or the CM doing something wrong? Here is what I have. Dis Magic plan at ASMu in early december for 7 nights for 2 adults. No insurance. That totals $2064 on my DC card. When I call to make a reservation using the code and not the card, it comes to $2085 or something like that. Am I doing something wrong?
Please help clarify.
Thanks
Gillian

Are you using the code for disney club packages? It's different than room only. Mousesavers has it listed in a different place than the new room only codes. There is a DC code for room only + ulimate hopper passes.
I'm really not sure of the answer to your question, but you may want to take a look at the room only rate + park hopper passes instead. You won't get the 2 features per day, but unless you eat a lot, you generally don't get your money's worth anyway.
In your situation, the discounted room only rate is $55/night, so $432 including tax for 7 nights. That leaves you $1600 to pay for passes and food.

If the code is for room only, they do not apply for a package. Last May we booked on a code for room only and they offered a discount on passes, so we took it and saved about $500 from dc discount. Booking the package saved us about $100 compared to room w/code and 4 dc discounted ultimate passes, booked separately. Most cast members can get you the info you need if you ask. Good luck.
