I did a few years back. We did a split stay with 3 nights on the Platinum Plan on the end. We went non-stop all 4 days of it but we got all the special things in that we wanted to do (fireworks cruise, dolphins in depth, aqua seas, etc). It was worth it at the time; wouldn't do it right now, but it was fun! I experienced a lot of things I normally wouldn't have tried, and definitely learned the ins and outs of using Disney transportation when we went to all of the different resorts.
Oh and we used the Gold Plan (now the Premium Plan) on the trip before our Platinum plan trip. That was also worth it at the time. Tried Platinum the next time to do the things that weren't included in the Gold plan.
Be warned - both include *tons* of food and the tours/recreation take time - so not as much park time. Depends on what you want to do.

We did the platinum plan for our honeymoon. It was fun, and we did some things that we probably wouldn't have done otherwise, but I don't think we would ever do it again.

Is it like one of things you should do like ONCE, at least?
We have been on the rides SO many times, that I need to experience MORE.

We did Platinum for an 8 day vacation, stayed RPC at the GF with it. While it was fun to do it once, we wouldn't do it again. Now we just stay RPC without all of that extra stuff and have a much more relaxing vacation without running from tour/activity to restaurant and back. :rotfl:

We will be doing a split stay package with one night "premium" plan plus the second night "room only". Then after these 2 nights(using the plan's credits for food and fun) we will have our regular DDP for the rest of the week. Don't get the Premium or Platinum for the more than one night(:thumbsup2 IMO) Since they both include ticket for the Cirque du Soleil $$$. We do not intend to go on any rides during the first 2 days while on the premium. :)

I am going on the platinum plan Janaury 3-10. We are staying at GF in a garden view room. It is just my girlfriend and I and we going for her 21st so we are planning on one week of crazyness running from thing to thing. We have our itinerary already planned out pretty much in advance with all of our reservations. It is like we are doing so many things we would have never done if it were not for this plan. And according to our itinerary we are going to get our moneys worth. Because I think we are very quick, and not traveling with young children.
THe only thing that really sucks is that none of the pin codes or specials apply to the premium or platinum plan. Maybe this new special being released on Monday will, but prob not.

We did the platinum plan in Sept 08 and loved it. It was wayyyyyy to much food but we used it and ate at mostly signature dining and V&A's which made it a great value there...we also did category 1 at aloha and HDDR. We did a ton of tours and cirque de soleil and lots of extras like parasailing and fireworks cruise and massages and loved staying concierge level where they did all the planning. It was a great time and we do plan to do it again sometime but not for the whole week as it was so busy and we were wore out.
