Mickey Print

We just finished a wonderful stay at VWL. It brought home to us just how much we love the resort, it truly says "home" to both of us. In our room we found "A Gift Worth Framing." A contemporary Mickey face like one that's featured in BLT. That was nice. Is this something that's in all of the resorts, a gift in all of the villas, or are they featuring it at VWL because it's close to BLT?

Hi Bobbi!
We were at the villas - a studio Dec. 3-9 and did not receive any such item. We transferred to a one bedroom at SSR Dec. 9-15 and didn't get one there either.
This must have been a special Christmas gift just for you!

We got one of those Mickey BLT prints as a welcome gift at the Poly club level over the summer. I really should find it and put it in a frame!

we were at VWL in a studio from the 4th to the 7th and had a mickey print waiting. I loved it, but thought it was out of place and wondered if it was supposed to be for us. The front desk confirmed that it was for me as I had that my birthday was that weekend noted on the reservation.

OP, did you have any special celebration noted on your reservation?

No, I didn't have anything noted. We were just happy to be staying at VWL for our December stay! :santa:

We actually got one in our garden view room at the Poly last month. At that point, we weren't members yet. So they must be in most if not all of the deluxes for sure. I LOVE that print, I wanted one anyway. :goodvibes Nothing special noted on our res either.

I bought one off of Ebay for $40.00....:scared1: But I really wanted it as I am a BLT owner. I did frame it, it looks really nice! :goodvibes

Just stayed at Kidani AK this past weekend, nothing for us even though reservation was made to celebrate wife's birthday. When I made ressie I made sure they put note down for birthday but was a bit dissapointed wife didn't even get a "Happy Birthday" on checkin.:sad2:

I'm DYING for that print! It's funny I saw it for the first time yesterday when I was looking at pix of the BLT studio and it was my fave part of the room - can you buy it from Disney?

We were at VWL in a studio from 11/24-12/1 and there was one in our room too. We were not celebrating anything except being together for Thanksgiving but I was happy to take a piece of WDW home with us.:goodvibes

Bobbi - we got one when we went to the studio on Saturday (12th) but did not get one when we checked into the two bedroom villa with my sister's family the week before. Would have loved to have gotten two - one for home and one for work. It will definitely look great framed.
