Just made ressies for Jan 2nd through Jan 14th, 2011. We're hoping to do the marathon that year. Booked a preferred site which at this time puts us in either loop 100, 200, 1700 or 1900?

Can't wait! Seems so far away, but I know the time will pass quickly!

Actually the only Preferred loops left are 100, 200 and 300 (pet)

So there must be an update to the loop designations that I found in this FAQ thread? I got my information from the 2nd post of this thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1818140

In short, I thought preferred loops were 100, 200, 1700 & 1900 with loops 300, 1600 and 1800 being pet preferred? If 100, 200 and 300 are the only preferred loops left {with 300 being pets}, what are loops 1600-1900 designated now?

Ahhh, looking around some more it looks like loops 1600-1900 are 'Full' campsite loops while 100-300 are 'Preferred' sites. It looks to me like the difference is size of the campsite to accommodate larger RVs {in sites 100-300} and 'Premium' location {i.e. close to the docks and Hoop-de-Doo}?

Yes, location makes 100-300 "preferred" as they're fairly close to the whole Settlement/Marina area.

I'm not really sure about the difference in site size between these and the full hookup loops - we've only stayed in 300 (and 500 once) - but I'm sure some folks here can give more info.
