THANKS SO MUCH for this info. Just got CBR waterview for 99.00 per night. I need 2 rooms, so total for 5 nights is $1099.50 using this code. Saved $313.70 from regular dc discount.

WL - 12/7-11- CY view @ $139 + tax = $154.25!

AKL - 11/9 - 11/12 - Savannah = $159 + tax = $176.33

Also found out AP rates due out 7/28.

CBR standard view $99 per night. I had the ASMO booked for $99/night. We are arriving 10/30, considered regular season, not value. ASMO is excluded from the code.

I'm still not thrilled with this rate, but I get a mod for what I was paying for a value. I am now waiting patiently for the AP rates.

Just got CBR December 10-14 for 79.00 + tax(actually when she quoted me the price she said it was 94.35 with tax so I questioned the price again because on mousesavers it said 79.00 plus tax-she went back in reread the deal and realized it was suppose to be 79.00 -she then went and spoke to someone about the problem with it coming up wrong and they will be calling me back sometime today to verify the new quote!)Make sense?Anyways-I got it for 86ish with tax! Thanks everyone!

I got WL - woods view for $149. Mousesavers quoted $119 for standard view but since i am saving $550 (Woo Hoo!) from my original DC ressie, I thought I would splurge and go for woods view!!

FYI - although my CM was very sweet, I had to be insistant about the code and kept asking her to try again, because she originally told me nothing was available. Thanks to ALL at the DIS for teaching me to be insistant (not pushy) and keep asking questions, otherwise I would have hung up with nothing!

Sometimes I believe we are more knowledgeable than some of the CMs!

Good luck to everyone!!

So bummed! I was on with CRO at 7:20, but the mousesavers site wouldn't update for me and didn't see this post. I made my correction (take off refrigerator) and then had hubby run for 2 major newspapers since the CM told me that someone she just talked to got them from the newspaper. Well, no codes in Baltimore Sun or USA Today. Then, I had to restart computer and saw this thread and the update on mousesavers. Now I've been on hold for over 15 minutes. Hope I can still get our current ressies discounted. We've got the WL, woodsview, booked for Nov. 22-29. With the prices everyone has been quoted, would love to be able to knock $400 off ressie. I guess I can try for a standard view, but don't want to have to do this. Sorry so long, but I had to do SOMETHING while I was on hold. Just chalk my ramblings up to CODEITIS. :p

I saved $117.92 off of my DC discount on my POR ressies. It was so tempting to upgrade to a deluxe, but I think I'll enjoy the extra pocket money just as much! ;)

I called CRO and gave her the code... she then told me there was a DC version of the code and automatically applied it. Unfortunatly I wasn't quite awake enough to know what questions to ask, but I did find out the code is ZWKE. It doesn't appear to be the "additional $50" discount Mousesavers.com suggested, but it does seem to match the CKO rate. I'm not sure if I should've changed it to a CRO ressie or not? Any reasons I should?

Thanks!

Bummer!

I had remembered that in the past with DC you only had to pay 45 days in advance if you had a package. But if it was room only, you paid when you got there. I just checked my '96, '98 and '00 Excel spreadsheets on what I spent and I paid for my room when I got there. Bummer!

I just used the code thru DisneyClub. I do have to pay in advance, which normally, I don't like to do, but since we are going in Dec., I'd rather pay before the holidays.

I saved over $20 a night from my DC discount. The DC code cost me $1.26 more than CKO. But, with that $1.26 we get the mini golf and the luggage tags, so I splurged:)

So, POFQ standard room, 12/4-11 the total is 661.26, saving me a total of 165.00.

Finally got through to CRO/DTC using DC 800#. Well, my heart sank when she told me there were no more woodsview discounts with CKO available from 11/22-29 (Thanksgiving week). I felt like I was going to be sick! Then she said that they had only courtyard views available for $154/night, total being $1,080. I got a big grin on my face when I finally figured out we got upgraded to a courtyard view and were still saving $333! Now DH understands why I spend all this time on the computer.

This is our one big trip and I'd be sick knowing that codes were available but that I missed out on them. I am constantly on the boards checking for deals, and I would have felt so disappointed in not being able to get the best rate. Thank goodness it all worked out. Thanks for everything Dissers!

As you can see from my earlier post, I got 30% off at the Contemporary, too. I e-mailed Mary Waring at Mousesavers, and she thinks that the overflow from SOG might be keeping the supply of rooms down at the CR (and demand high), and therefore, discounts are not as good.

Why, oh why isn't the All Star Movies included in the discount codes?!?!?!?!

We were set on taking two year old triplets there (have airfare already in October). They LOVE, LOVE Toy Story! We have talked to them about it and everything. It would make the trip even better to be as All Star Movies.

We are going in regular season so $99 per night. We need two adjoining rooms. We are going for a wedding so got a $90 per night rate for that. Is that the best I'll do?????? For the summer codes there was a special one for MN residents. Do you "experts" think that more codes will come out for residents of certain states? If so for ALL STAR MOVIES??

Should I just book All Star Sports at the discount and starting "hyping" that will the kids??

Deserate mommy of triplets!

Hi Julie, I was disappointed to hear that AsMo was excluded, but I can't say that I was surprised. It usually books up the fastest, therefore they don't need to offer the discounts. I already had a ressie at AsMo with DC discount. I could have gotten the code discount at AsMu and saved about $8 per night, but I decided to stay at AsMo. The kids are really looking forward to staying there!

I'm still hoping that we might see an AP discount at AsMo, but I kind of doubt that that's going to happen.

The value resorts are right next door to each other, so you could easily walk over to AsMo from AsMu to look around.

I called this morning and got the new code applied to my reservation at the CBR. Saved a total of $211.00 on my six night stay. Beth - what is your rate for the All Star Movies per night with the DC discount/rate??? We are considering, but have not yet gotten DC. When are you staying - reg or value season?

Comparing my $90 wedding rate to $74 for the Music/Sports... should I go Music/Sport?
Thanks,
Julie

I didn't have luck with CKO for WL or PO for 12/4 - 12/8 (some parts of the stay were already booked up). However, the CM did something - she was looking for a particular Disney Club discount that just came out, and she added that and it was $378 including tax for 4 nights at POR (standard view). Which is cool because I just booked POR for 12/4 - 12/8 the day before with Disney Club and it was $472.

So, you may want to ask for any discounts that could apply.

Well, I got a really nice CM when I called back, Debra, and got the same info for the Contemporary Tower $254, so I decided, I'm headed back to Poly, Garden View, requested 3rd Floor Tahiti, at a rate of $198.69/night including tax. If AP rates end up getting me in the Contemporary Tower for better than the $254, I might switch to there . . .

I booked a Port Orleans French Quarter king bed room for $109.89 tax included ($99/night) for 11/3-11/10. We REALLY wanted CSR and will try on the 28th for the AP discount but we have stayed at POFQ and like it.

We are arriving on November 2nd but did not want to pay the more expensive rate our whole 8 nights for arriving one night earlier. Do you think it will be a problem to add one night at the more expensive rate? I don't care if we have to move after 1 night if it saves $80-$100 for the stay.

This probably belongs on the Technical Board, but for all you having trouble seeing the updated codes on Mousesavers, try this if you are using Internet Explorer: Go to Tools - Internet Options. On the General tab, under the Temporary Internet Files heading, click on the Delete Files button. This should clear any old pages that may be stored on your PC.

Hope this helps!

I was disappointed to hear that AsMo was excluded, but I can't say that I was surprised. It usually books up the fastest, therefore they don't need to offer the discounts. I already had a ressie at AsMo with DC discount. I could have gotten the code discount at AsMu and saved about $8 per night, but I decided to stay at AsMo. The kids are really looking forward to staying there!

Beth

Same here Beth,
But I was happy with the rate to start with, so I'm fine with it. I hope for AP rates too, but if it doesn't happen it wouldn't be any big deal.
Heck $61 a night sounds good to me anyway! I'm paying $75 to go to a little college town in the middle of nowhere with nothing around to do ;-)

I think you can book your regular season date on a separate reservation to get the lower rate for the rest of your trip. I would then try faxing the room assigner 3-4 days before and ask to stay in the same room. good luck

I got the GF GV for $320 including tax. We have 4 adults so we were charged an extra $25 per adult per night. Is this a decent rate? I was thinking it was still high. Should I have only said 2 adults? I am hoping the AP rate will be better.

Booked by the general mousesaver code for nov. 15 and 16th. Standard view room double bed for $94/night. Wanted to maybe use DC code but only can stay for 2 nights not 3 and thought the mini golf coupon would probably expire at length of stay. Now I have to finish remodeling my house and refinance then it's green lights to disney. Now I'm motivated. I was going to book ASMO as we just stayed there in june and loved it but not available with discounts so we are trying out a new resort. "upgrading" a bit. Probably more appropriate for an anniversary trip anyway. Thank you DIS and mousesaver Mary, you've made a lot of people very happy today.:p :p :p

DO call me at AKL Concierge on 10/10 and 10/11!!

I just switched from Standard room to Concierge at AKL... cost me $279 + tax! Rack Rate for concierge is $470!!

Hey... when you get a discount, why not splurge for more than you would have spent WITHOUT any discount!!!

Now, I am officially crazy... HOWEVER... I now have to eat $222 worth of "free" food in two days!!! Hahahahahahahahaha...

Why did I do this? Well... because we had 5 and a baby and were going to illegally squeeze into a standard for $397. After I read here that the standard rooms are really really small (can only accomodate 4 people)... I wanted to upgrade to a deluxe with the bunk beds... well for a mere $108 more I could do concierge level ("free" food)... So..... I did it! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Happy Dancing going on here!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Yeah... now we have room and food!

I just called the WDTC to inquire about the new codes. I have the 5 night Discovery Magic package booked at the Animal Kingdom Concierge. My total was $3564.54 for 2 people. When I called WDTC, I spoke to Gregory (who was very nice), and Gregory looked up the CLO code for me. He said that the CLO code would save me a lot of money. But, imagine my surprise when he said my new total for five nights would be $2641.00! That's a HUGE savings!! :)

He cancelled the existing package, and rebooked the AKL Concierge for two people on the Discovery Magic Package. He's crediting my $200.00 deposit, and I paid a new one night deposit (that totaled $276.39) on the new ressie. I got a new confirmation number. The only thing I do not have is the priority viewing area for the fireworks. However, Gregory said that I can purchase the privledge separately by calling (407) WDW-TOUR.

I made him repeat all of my ressie information, because it sounded just too good to be true!!

I hope this information helps/encourages those of you hoping to get a discount!! :D

Yeah! Thanks to the new code I was able to go from ASMo at $86.24 including tax to AKL-Savannah view for $176 inlcuding tax! It's just for one night after we stay at the Beach Club Villas, and I figured for an extra $100 it was worth it, espescially since I had already sent CRO $100! Now I only have to pay $76 more. Don't you like my twisted thinking?

PatriciaH
07-22-2002, 10:19 AM
Waaahhh:( Just asked and Coronado Springs (and All Star Movies) will NOT be giving AP discounts either according to CRO. If we did CSR with AAA discount it would be as much as WL or AKL standard with this code. Than stinks. Oh well I can settle for French Quarter at $99 a night (king) I guess:)

Oh, in case anyone was wondering CRO can do some of the nights regular season /some value if you check in on regular season. You just have to check out and check in again. Since only our first night was regular season (11/2) and the rest value we are doing it. She requested we keep the same room.

I'm so excited. We already had the govt rate booked for 7 days at the Dolphin in Oct and were planning on staying offsite on our arrival day. Decided that 154 standard including tax at the Wilderness Lodge was too good to pass up so we're going to split the stay w/ 3 nites at WL and 5 at the Dolphin!!!. Thanks to Mary at mousesavers and everyone on the boards for the code info!!! I used the DC code and the CM I spoke to didn't mention anything about mini golf or Wide World of Sports tix. Anyone else that used this code have the same experience? I'm wondering if I should call back.

No credit card with the new codes. Just call, give them the dates and resort you want, tell them the code you want to check for and then they will give you a reservation number after taking your info. In a few days you will get a confirmation in the mail that you can send in with a check or cc info then!

They come listed on the confirmation so I would wait until I get my confirmation in the mail and if it's not listed on there, then call them back and tell them you want them. Well, woke up early to call for rooms-WASTED 15 minutes on the phone with DC-said discount was only for packages when the code specifically said room only. Anyway as I was on hold-I grabbed my cell phone and called CRO-totally knew what I was talking about and searched several resorts for me.
Ended up with WL standardview-$139! Never been there before, so very excited! PO was $99, so figured the extra $39 was worth it!
By the way, CM I spoke with said CRO has extended and added shifts today to handle code calls-so hold times should be much better!

Tara,
Actually, the way I read the codes is that DC has two codes, one for room only and one for packages. Some sites explain it clearer than others. Sometimes we have to inform CMs....happens alot!

Glad you got what you wanted. You will love WL, it is beautiful.
