Booked DCR for 5 days at Easter in October and was told I was paying cheapest price by booking early and paying last years prices.
Looked last night and the holiday has come down by £150 - I could even stay in 2 bed lodge if I booked now for less than I paid £1037 rather than the £1098 I paid.
Do you reckon if I ring up and complain I could get a free upgrade to a 2 bed lodge or some money back?
TBH I think it's a cheek promising the cheapest price and then not honouring it.
What do you think?

disney regularly bring out offers to get more people to go and those who have booked early lose out. im not sure that they would do anything as i dont think the make price promises. who told you you were getting the cheapest price was it a disney agent?

On the phone the agent told me I was paying last years prices and intimated that I was getting the best price by booking early. He also mentioned that it was a high price period as its the Easter holidays and again intimated that there would be no discounts.
Didn't say anything concrete but gave the impression

I don't think there will be anything you can do about this - Disney, just like every other travel company, bring out offers based on supply and demand. In fact, Disney this year (and possibly next one too) brought out lots of discounts all through the year, even for high season dates.
The way I always look at it when I'm ready to book for DLP is, am I happy with the price I'm being asked to pay? If I am, I'll book, and then just take my chances that the next offer that comes out won't be a much better one. Sometimes you'll be right, sometimes you won't :confused3.

Well if I cancelled and rebooked the same holiday I would save £50 even when losing the 10% depost I've already paid. The price they are asking for a 2 bed lodge is less than I've paid for a 1 bed which is what is annoying
I still might swing my leg with this one
If I'd realised there might have been a chance of a better offer I wouldn't have rushed in and booked so quickly. I woudl ahve watched the prices for a while
