I won't post specific numbers since it differs by each PI, but it is definitely more than the CP. I've heard anywhere from $9 to $15+ an hour (upper end being for engineering types)

Agreed. Pay varies by role, but you will still be making hourly. However, you will be making more per hour than your college program by a long shot. Just remember that the more you make the more in taxes get taken out.
