Hello

Having a bit of a panic. We can't decide what we should do about transfers :scared1:

Our flight lands at 19.20 on new years eve and we have a few choices...

1. TGV at 19.41 (bit of a push but on the plus side we have no luggage to collect)

2. TGV at 20.48 (more realistic but don't want to be waiting around unnecessarily)

3. Taxi - shared or private, not too sure which is best. Although does anyone know how long it will take from CDG to Hotel Ibis Marne La Vallée Val d'Europe??? Will there be any traffic to consider with it being new years eve???

Any help would be great!

Allowing for clearance through customs and immigration the 19.41hrs is a non starter IMHO.

So that leaves the later TGV or a private shuttle. I would be tempted to go for the private shuttle although may be more expensive for just the 2 of you.
The driver will be waiting at arrivals and you will be on your way as soon as you are cleared :)

Thanks for your wise words!

I think the private transfer is definately more appealing as we just want to get to the hotel and maybe get into one of the parks if we're lucky!!

Could you give me an idea of how long will it take from the airport by car??

And are there any bargainous taxi companies out there at the mo???

it takes around 30 minutes by car to get to dlp. i would try booking a shared shuttle to try bring down the cost and you may end up having that taxi to yourselves in any case

I would like to put in my vote for a Shared Shuttle. I don't think it works out that much more expensive, well it doesn't for 3 of us. I would not use VEA again and love that someone is at arrivals waiting for me.

Hi, how much roughly for a shared shuttle? - the cheapest I've been able to find from De'Gaulle airport is 100euros one-way for 2adults and 3kids, many thanks

We have used http://www.rstransports.com/ in the past and looking at their website it will be €142 for the 5 of you return on a shared shuttle. However I would imagine that with 5 of you it would be unlikely that you would share.

Thanks for the replies.

We did look at the shared shuttle but we are worried we may be kept waiting  We have no luggage to collect so we want to be straight out of the airport and on our way!

Also can anyone confirm if BS Transport is the same as RS Transport???

Thanks

if a shared shuttle with rs transport is 142 then i would just go with ezy shuttle instead. they have a set rate of 120 euros return for up to six people. i used them on my last trip and they were wonderful. they are waiting to collect you right as you leave the luggage area. if you didnt have luggage you could just tell them that in the email so they will be there waiting for you.
