Where are all the resales?

When I used to go look at the resales (link from this page) there used to be pages of them! Now, there's only a few - and most of them say "Sale Pending".

Are less and less people selling now? Are they selling somewhere else?

From what I understand it is a combination of fewer sellers and buyers on wait lists getting resales before they are even posted.

I spoke with our resale agent and she said that most of the resales are going before they even hit the websites, especially the good ones.

Two weeks ago she had a dozen listings and now she has 2. There seems to be a run on resales recently.

If the Fed lowers the interest rates again I think you are going to see people relaxing their spending.

If anyone is interested in resales I would suggest you get on a brokers list. I'd be happy to share a name or two with you if you email me.
