Is it true that the refillable Disney mugs that you buy are free if you are a AAA member?

Welcome to the boards! I think that you have to have booked your Disney cruise through AAA to receive the soda mugs at no charge. I booked through AAA and my TA told me that this was a perk. I do not go on my cruise until December so I do not know if the mugs will be in our stateroom or if we need to claim them somewhere? Maybe someone else can pop onto this thread and let us know...:D

I am a AAA member but I booked directly thru Disney. When I heard about the free mug I called and was told it had to be booked thru AAA.

last January we booked through AAA. I was told by the TA that the mugs would be in the room, but when we got there, they weren't in there. I had to go to guest services to get coupons for the mugs.

When we booked our trip for Feb. 2002 with AAA we noticed the perk for the free mugs, we had 11 going with us, we asked about the mugs and she said everyone in the traveling party would get them, we asked her at the time, and she said we would have coupons in the final paperwork, We we got our Final Docs the coupns for the mugs were in everyones package.
When we boarded the ship there were stations set up all around the ship to turn in our coupons, and everyone got them.
We are hoping for the same thing on the next trip in Feb. 2003..
