Hoop de Do- using dining credits?

I'm making reservations for Hoop De Doo and we are on the deluxe dining plan.... do we have to sit in sections 2 or 3 to use dining credits? There is section 1 available but i thought I remembered you had to pay for that and couldn't use credits? Is that right??

If you go to the 9:30 show you can use credits for category 1.

We went this past October and this was the first time we used 2 each DDP credits to go to the Hoop-Dee-Doo. We were worried the Cat 2 would get us seats where we would not see the show. In the past we had Cat. 1, paid OOP and called as early as possible and always got seats up front. This time we got tables in the back with Cat, 2 but they were raised tables, and also so many times the actors are in the middle of the floor anyway and many times they were in the back. I enjoyed those seat better then the seats up front. I would so Cat. 2 again.

Have sat cat 2 twice and cat 3 once using DDP. Even the cat 3 seats were good. Our last time sitting cat 2 were probably the worst seats we've had, and I would have no problem sitting there again. We were very near the stage, but on the side. One of the seats has a slightly obstructed view due the piano. I took that seat, and my mom who was with us on her first visit :goodvibes, loved sitting so close to the piano.. she plays.

We booked the 5pm ADR with cat 2 seating, but when we were seated it was definately cat. 1. We were there during Free Dining.

We also had Cat 2, but they were great seat and we loved the show.
