Motorized Scooter or wheelchair question...

My cousins are meeting up with my family & I at Pop Century for Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. Two out of 3 of them will be needing either a motorized scooter or a wheelchair to get around. They can get around a little bit but not much. We won't be doing a park either day...probably just go to Downtown Disney or if possible, maybe a little bit of resort hopping, just to check out their decorations.

What do you suggest? Can we get either one of those items at the Pop Century? Then if we go to Downtown Disney ~ do they have to get one down there or can they continue to use one from the hotel (if they have them to rent?)

I'd so apprciate it if someone could shed some light on this for me! TIA!

As far as I know the only place to rent and EVC is inside the parks and they can not be taken out of the park. If you need one ( or more) for DTD or the resorts then you should rent from one of the local compaines. They will deliver it to the resort that they are staying at and pick it up when they are done.

if you check the stickies in the regular section they have several local companies and numbers so you can rent locally.

They drop the ecv off at the hotel the day you arrive, and pick-up when you leave. You can use them on disney busses, so you can use them at dtd.

We have used walker mobility many times with great success.
