I received the WDWM December Update Email.

In the newsletter Disney talks about medal replica pins. They 'goofed' and included Goofy in the photo.

Looks like a full color running Goofy in front of a 5.

If you did not get the December newsletter, PM me your e-mail address and I will forward later tonight.

VERY COOL!

Good catch Charles. I had to go pull the newsletter as I passed right over it.

Oh cool - I want that Goofy medal now more than ever - love the big 5 on it. That was a main reason I wanted to do the Goofy - I knew there would be a new medal for it being the 5th anniversary.

Duane, I a going to need a piggy back ride from the MK to AK this year. This is really the first year that I come into Goofy with a lot of questions.

(maybe I should go back and look at my notes...2006 was really wierd, also)

Definitely need to get to the finish on Sunday!

Wahoooooo lovin the medals.

Anyone know how much that pin collection would be? I tried to get last years set and didn't find them anywhere and we where among the first ones in last year.

Kim they were in a different area. Not in the expo or milk house I think. Hopefully someone who did get them will clue us in on where THAT line was :thumbsup2 I'd be interested in a set too and wanted one last year but didn't notice line and was short on time.

Very cool looking!

Thanks Charles for the heads up - totally missed it!

And Thanks Robert for the bigger pictures! Very cool.

Am I the only one that did not realize they were changing the medal?

Kim: I think they were about 13.95 a piece last year, but I don't remember for sure. There was a seperate line for them, which I was standing in. When you approach the milk house and head down the alley to your left they had the line set up. There were only 5 of us in it last year. When you picked up your packet they fed you to the top floor, past the speakers area and there was a small merchandise section there. That is where the pins were. They started handing out tickets to those that picked up our packets yet still had us standing in line. Jeff walked by and told me they were handing out tickets so we started a revolt and pushed past the guy making us stand there to grab some tickets and get on with the expo shopping, lol. Not sure if they will handle it this was or not again this year.

I thought with tax they were like 14 something. Will try to check if I've got receipts somewhere.

Charles,
I am thinking Roller Blades this year! You in?

Hey if I can finish last year with my knee injury at mile 14, you can make it being slightly under trained :)

I want one of the Donald ones badly. We can't get to the expo until Friday afternoon. Any early arrivers willing to get one for me? I'm good for it.
