Since I don't want the kiddos to get sea sick, I am likely going to cancel the Xcaret excursion we had booked.

My nieces want to swim with dolphins and I think my daughter would love it too. I know that while Disney doesn't offer any swim excursions for children my DDs age, I know we can do it at Chankanaab. How easy will it be to arrange our own transportation once we get off the boat?

This may work out better for us since the start time of the Xcaret was 7:15am :scared1: which would be a pain with 3 kids to get up, get ready and feed.

Also, the aquarium in Key West - I have heard it's small but many people said they liked it. Is it worth going? I've been trying to find pics but can't. :confused3

Any suggestions for Grand Cayman. I haven't seen much that we can bring our toddler along on - so I am thinking a beach. Is Seven Mile the best one?

:)

Chankanaab: It's very easy. You just exit the terminal/shopping area, A person will ask where you want to go and he signals for a taxi. It was $4.00 p/p for the taxi each way. I read that they don't expect tipping, but we did just because we are accustomed to tipping here in the US. A quick 12-15 ride.

Grand Cayman: Seven Mile beach.

This is exactly what we did last week. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was. And the park is really pretty. My recommendation is to bring water shoes and get there early. We got off when the ship docked so were at the park before the crowd got there. It was great! If I remember, I'll post pictures later tonight for you.

Here are some pictures. I don't have any with the actual dolphin swim as I haven't scanned them in yet (just cruised last week) but here are pictures of the park. If you look at the pool pictures you can see the dolphin area behind it.

That looks great!! It looks like you can clearly see the dolphins from the pool area?

Okay, I think I am settled that Chakanaab will be the better excursion. I'll cancel the Xcaret with Disney tonight.

You can definitely see the dolphins swimming and jumping. The best view is if you pay to go out on the walk way but you can definitely see the dolphins from the main walkway.
