Hi All!

Who is going to the world New Years Eve? Do you all have any plans for dinner? I know the date is getting closer and I'm ready to go! A few years back they gave out noise makers and hats! I think they will be having special dinners at EPCOT also.

Are you going this time of year? If so what are you planning to do or see?

Thanks All!
Brunette

We'll be there! We're actually flying in on the 31st at around 11:00 AM. We'll most likely drop our bags off at our hotel and then head over to EPCOT for the rest of the day and night. We've never been on New Year's before, so this will be a new experience!

We are planning on HS for New Years. That is where we were last year. Our son is a teenager and he really enjoyed the party atmosphere there last year, so we are going to repeat. We have ADR for 50's Primetime since our trip was only planned last minute a few weeks ago we were happy to find any available for then.

We're arriving on the 30th and will be in MK for New Year's. We know it will be crazy so we're prepared. We were at Disneyland 3 yrs ago for New Year's so we kind of know what to expect. We have early dinner ressies at the castle.:goodvibes

We'll be at MK on NYE's. We have a lunch a Crystal Palace and will do counter service for dinner.

This is the last day our AP's will be valid. We activated them on NYE's 2008 so we could get two NYE celebrations on one AP!

We were at MK last year as well. Although we left at 11:45 and watched the fireworks from the TTA parking lot. We hope to stay until the park closes this time to get every last minute of use from our AP!

We know it'll be crowded, but how can you beat ringing in the New Year at WDW?!?!? :wizard:

I'll be there! We have dessert party reservations for 12/30 at the MK when they do the "dress rehearsal" NYE fireworks. Then, on NYE itself we're going to DHS. Depending on how annoyed we get with crowds, we may or may not stay to ring in the new year. Then the next morning we're getting up early for EMH! I know it sounds crazy but when I was at DHS on new year's day 2000 my brother and I were the only people walking down Sunset Boulevard towards ToT and RnR. Definitely worth repeating!

The MK EMH is morning only on 12/31 but the park is open until 2am!

Could you imagine evening EMH on 12/31 at MK, you could be there until 5am!!! Sleep a couple of hours on a bench and be ready for rope drop at EMH 7am on 1/1.

We'll be at MK on the 30th to see the Dublin Scioto Marching Band march down Main Street USA ahead of the afternoon parade (starrring my DS on cymbals - his name is Jack, feel free to give him a shout out on the parade route!). Then we'll be at HS for NYE - should be a blast!

We'll be at Epcot on the 31st. Just decided about 10 days ago to suprise the kids with an after Christmas trip. We've never been this week, so a little worried, but very excited! On the 31st we have lunch ressies at Rose and Crown and dinner at San Angel Inn, not my favorites, but the only ones available at the last minute. I can't wait!

We don't arrive in Orlando until about 8PM so we hope we can get into the Studios. If not, we are just going to make the most of the evening after we get checked into the Swan.

Not only would this be my first NYE in the parks, it would be my first one doing anything besides sitting up at home watching tv.

Can't believe our trip is just around the corner. I'm actually hardly thinking about Christmas-more excited for Disney. We are going to Epcot in the AM but haven't decided about the pm. We have lunch ADRs at Whispering Canyon so hopefully they will let us back in. Don't know that we'll actually make it to midnight since we have a 9 year old. I almost would rather go to bed at a decent time and tour in the AM of the 1st hoping everyone else is sleeping in. Although we are actually thinking of doing Seaworld on 1/1 in the AM and Disney in the PM.
