Just curious as to what they serve on this night. I love mexican food, and wonder if they do justice to it on the ship on the western cruise.

In the greater scheme of things, I know it's no big deal - it's just one meal.
I just wanna know if I can look forward to a good south of the border feast!

Denine, on the Western, Mexicalifragilistic night is Wednesday (Cozumel night). There are plenty of things on the menu that are not Mexican food. It is more of a tropical theme party including going through the limbo line with your servers(if you want). It was a lot of fun, of course the visit to Carlos and Charlies before dinner could have had something to do with that ;o)

Thanks, I figured it was on Cozumel night. I just couldn't remember which night that was.

Denine - That is the night we plan to go to Palo. We are sending the teens on the teen catamaran thing at 6:30 and heading to Palo. When they return we will take them to dinner at our normal late seating ( but we won't eat, I am sure LOL!!)

The menu for mexi...... night doesn't look like we would miss it anyway! I love Palo!!!

I was disappointed with the Mexicali... menu. I love Mexican food and would've loved to have more choices on the menu. It seems to me they should either go tropical or mexican - pick one. Because being in the middle just doesn't suffice. Definitely a night you can miss ( 'cept you get to wear shorts in the dining rooms ) However, at the deck party later, they did have more mexican food choices at the buffet setup - though we had already eaten by then...... oh well. Just so you know - mexican food..deck party...save room.
