Taking a quick break from studying to give everyone a heads up that as of today, Bing.com cashback is now 20% on eBay (it's been 20% at Wal-mart for a few days). This is the highest it's been in over a year. I wouldn't expect it to stay this high for more than a couple days.

Have fun!

I am not seeing this offer. I cannot even find Walmart listed under the cashback stores.

Don't forget to double check the prices by going directly to bhphoto, adorama, or Amazon. Go directly to the site, not through the Bing links. I've already caught Bing playing the numbers game by listing a Bing 15% off BHPhoto lens for a price higher than if you went directly to the website. Same deal with Walmart prices. Goto walmart in another window w/o using Bing and check pricing.

It was at 20% until yesterday at around 10 p.m. EST. A lot of times, it will show 8% or 15% the first time you run a search. You just have to refresh a few times (or try different search terms...) to get the 'highest' CB percentage. I always refer to the thread on SD that indicates the current cashback percentage. The SD threads are also great for troubleshooting why you may not be seeing the maximum available cashback.

From what I understand, this was a limited incident at Butterfly photo and a couple of other sites, and Microsoft has since corrected the problem (which the retailers, not Microsoft, created with their cookies). There is no different pricing via Bing at eBay or Wal-Mart (just as there would be no different pricing if you clicking through an ad referral on any website).

Cash back sites are essentially just glorified "ad banners" you'd find on any website--except with the cashback site, they agree to split the revenue with you rather than giving it all to the website owner (for that reason, unless you really want to support a particular website, you should always look for cashback on a referral site rather than clicking through a link on any website). Normally, I use a site called evreward.com to compare cashback sites, but with Bing.com's variable eBay amounts and the current "goldrush", it isn't especially helpful.
