They were so close to making it happen. Im so upset they didn't. It would have been amazing. But why didnt they? Does anyone know please.

I haven't heard anything to suggest that it's not happening. All I know is it is part of the planned Fantasyland expansion.

Where did you hear it's no longer in the works?

I think WDW is getting it with the expansion to be finised in 2012..but DL is getting it now. :)

I watched it on the special features on the dvd.
It goes through the story. From the bottom of the ocean to land. And your in a shell :)

The ride is going to be different from the one on the DVD. It's going to use a ride system similar to the one found on The Seas with Nemo at Epcot. The California version is going to be opening first at Disney's California Adventure in the area where Golden Dreams used to be.

The attraction at Magic Kingdom is going to be designed like Prince Eric's castle from the outside.
